Das hier bereits angekündigte neue Audio Tool preFIX von Variety Of Sound ist ein Pre-Misch-und Audio-Alignment-Tool das in der Regel vor dem Mischvorgang seinen Einsatz findet. Es soll ein cleveres Set von Tools bieten, die zur Reinigung und Korrektur von Audiospuren (Rohaufnahmen) dienen. Enthalten sind unter anderem eine komplette Expander / Gate-Lösung mit Sidechain-Filter.
preFIX wird, wie auch alle anderen Variety Of Sound Plugins, als Freeware vertrieben werden, also gratis. Es ist erstaunlich was hier an wirklich guten und auch vielfach professionell eingesetzten Audio Plugins, angefangen vom Equalizer über Delays, Kompressoren, Bandsättiger, Channelstrip bis hin zum Reverb geboten wird. Ihr solltet Euch das unbedingt einmal anschauen oder besser anhören!
