Seitdem die Firma Behringer, welche bekannt dafür ist, auch für den kleinen Gedbeutel erschwingliche Audio-Hardware zu produzieren, Synthesizer baut, spalten sich die Elektronik-Musiker in zwei Lager, Pro Behringer und Contra Behringer.
Die Marke polarisiert dermassen stark, dass es in einigen Foren inzwischen untersagt wurde, das B-Wort zu nutzen. Das dürfte aber Uli Behringer wenig jucken, denn Gratis-PR ist ja immer von Vorteil.
Nun hat Behringer seinen ersten eigenen Synthesizer im Sortiment, der Neutron ist kein Nachbau einer Synth-Legende á la Moog, sondern eine komplette Eigenentwicklung, die sogar mit einem eigenen Filterdesign aufwarten kann.
Die Website www.synthanatomy.com berichtet über den Behringer Neutron und beruft sich auf die Infos des Music Shops Guitar Center aus den USA, auf der offiziellen Behringer Website konnte ich noch nichts zum Neutron finden.
Laut meinen Recherchen soll der Behringer Neutron ab April 2018 zu haben sein und 299,- US Dollar kosten, ob der Preis für uns in Europa der Gleiche sein wird, bleibt wohl noch abzuwarten.
